Boxing Stakeholders Meet in Washington DC

A group of executives and major stakeholders in the boxing industry met on January 7, 2023, to discuss the future of boxing as a sport. Representing ACE Power were president, Dr. Adae Opoku Amoako, and vice president, Mr. Michael Akoto.

The meeting was geared towards grooming young talent in the United States as well as discovering and recruiting boxers outside the US – a major aspect of ACE Power’s mission.

By the end of the discussions, the stakeholders agreed that it was imperative for the future of boxing, for promoters to every now and then discover new talents and develop them into world-class athletes.

ACE Power has always believed in discovering and grooming young boxers in and around Africa. These young athletes once they’ve proven themselves are put on shows in the United States – the Mecca of boxing to enable them to realize their dreams of becoming world champions.

As part of its mission, ACE Power will continue to present boxers with the opportunity to make a name for themselves in boxing.

The executives and stark holders also took time to enjoy the fight between Geovanta Davis and Hector Garcia and toured Washington D.C.
